The Rarities of Hot Brown Surprise!
One of the most exciting parts of making a Hot Brown sandwich is the freedom to put your own culinary twist on this 100-year old classic. This is the heart of our Hot Brown Surprise trading card game, where each pack includes recipe staples and more unconventional ingredients to play as you build a sandwich with your opponents.
There are four rarities with different drop rates in packs of Hot Brown Surprise. The first rarity is common, which includes the standard ingredient cards we showed in our last blog post (toast, turkey, Mornay sauce, tomato, and bacon). Each pack of Hot Brown Surprise contains 9 common cards and 2 cards with a higher rarity.
The next level is rare and includes 8 different ingredients. There is a 10% chance of pulling a given rare ingredient in a Hot Brown Surprise pack. These include a variety of enhanced versions of the base ingredients like smoked turkey and candied bacon, in addition to some new toppings like pimentos and jalapeños.
There are 4 different ingredients with epic rarity. Each of these cards has a 4-5% chance of being pulled in a pack.
With a 1% chance of being pulled, the secret rarity features one card and one card only: peaches. The perfect touch of sweetness on top of the salty, savory goodness of the Hot Brown (or a nice garnish)!
